About Yolanda
QUIET MIND HEALING
Learning the body’s language brings us into trust and partnership with it — the ground from which self-healing grows.
I help people living with pain, high sensitivity, and environmental challenges decode their body’s language so they can stop suffering, build their resilience, and reclaim their lives. These people “have already tried everything” yet are still losing energy and struggling to tap their natural healing capacity.
Here is the story behind the work — how it developed, what shaped it, and why it continues to matter:
At age 20, I became disabled by severe pain. After extensive treatment, I was released from one of the top physical therapy clinics in New Jersey without explanation — a familiar outcome for many of my clients. With no diagnosis, no roadmap, and no meaningful support, I left conventional medicine, endured outrageous disability, and vowed to heal myself naturally.
i never gave up.
There was no ONE single breakthrough — only decades of sustained daily effort: intensive study, self-care, and real-world clinical experience helping people listen to their bodies beyond their symptoms. While living with a complex neurological condition myself, I worked with my clients and refined an approach grounded in direct experience, anatomy and physiology, careful observation, and respect for each person’s timing and sensitivity. Progress emerged through precision, love, and patience — never by force.
Founding Quiet Mind Healing in 1988, I met bright, capable clients who were deeply engaged in their own process. They had researched extensively, tried multiple approaches, and adapted brilliantly to complex challenges — yet still suffered. Over time, through my own experience and my teachers’ brilliance, i came to recognize and treat common patterns of pain, sensitivity, and nervous system overwhelm that perpetuate suffering.
Through nervous system regulation, fascial realignment, and brain-based energy work, I help people reorganize from the inside out — so they reawaken their self-healing power. i shorten the learning curve by translating decades of lived experience into clearer, more direct support for my client;’s success.
At its heart, my work is devoted to resolving pain — helping people learn what their bodies are communicating and how to respond with precision, patience, and trust. - restoring their most fundamental relationship - with themselves.

What People Are Saying
Before we worked together, I was struggling with anxiety and tension. My busy life as a caregiver has constant demands and worries, and it can be hard to stay positive. In a few short minutes of remote treatment, I felt still, open and calm. I experienced bliss! Yolanda is amazing. I am grateful to have received her excellent healing work and for the helpful exercises she gave me.

My shoulder was injured two years ago carrying my bike and pack on the trail, and the pain had gotten bad. After one bodywork appointment with you, I was 90% better; and now after my second session, the shoulder is 98% better. It's pretty amazing to go from that kind of pain a few months ago to where I am now. I'm doing weights, pushups, and strenuous yoga again, which is helping me rebuild my shoulder instead of hurting it.
